The Seventh Commandment
You shall not steal.


What does this mean?

We should fear and love God so that we do not take our neighbor’s money or possessions, or get them in any dishonest way, but help him to improve and protect his possessions and income.

Reading for Thursday

Philippians 2: 1-11

Memory Work, verse 4

Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.  

  1. How is ”selfish ambition and conceit” contrary to the 7th commandment?

 

How did Jesus humble himself? 

 What does it mean to live a humble life?

With the 7th commandment in mind what does it mean to “look after the interests of other”?
