Week 7 (Oct 20-26, 2019) The Sixth Commandment

30 Jan 2020

Week 7 (October 20-26, 2019) The Sixth Commandment

You shall not commit adultery.

What does this mean?

We should fear and love God so that we lead a sexually pure and decent life in what we say and do, and husband and wife love and honor each other.

Pastors thoughts on the 6th commandment:

If you want to see where the world’s attack on Christianity is focused, look at the 6th commandment. Not only have we legalized same-sex marriage, but we have also opened a Pandora’s box of other issues directly related to man and woman and bringing children into the world. All these battles try to undermine the good and precious promises God gives us in the 6th commandment. God did not give us the 6th commandment to keep anything from us. He gave us this commandment, so the gifts and joys of marriage, sex and family are protected and not perverted by the world.
