Sermons on Divine Services – August
Pastor Randy Sturzenbecher and Vicar Dennis Mercer will be presenting four weeks of Sermons on the Divine Services beginning the second week in August. Our worship has many parts that seem to be done in a particular order. We will find out WHY we do this, WHAT does it mean, and HOW RICH is the Liturgy. We will also learn what churches are missing out on that do not worship this way.
Topics (not necessarily in this order) will be: The Service of Confession and Absolution, the Service of the Word. the Service of the Sacrament (s), and How to Listen to a Sermon. To help understand and answer questions, a Bible Study on that weeks sermon will be between the services after fellowship.
